This series is an expression of my perception of the confrontation between human body heat and the natural cold during the cold winter. When creating, my hands were placed in the cold air, and I gradually felt the constriction in my fingers. The rapid congelation and distortion of the skin after being rinsed and soaked in ice water unlocked the inner senses, allowing me to feel the flow, condensation, and diffusion of blood in the body, like cells constantly growing, merging, and reorganizing; the skin was the final ice layer. I wanted to explore it but was afraid of "breaking the ice", enjoying this collision of human energy and natural energy, which is contradictory yet true.
